Fine‑tuning the day length settings on your Soulmask server is one of the simplest ways to shape the pace, difficulty, and overall feel of your world. Whether you want longer daylight hours for exploration, shorter cycles for faster progression, or a perfectly balanced rhythm for co‑op play, Soulmask gives server hosts full control over the day/night cycle. This guide walks you through how to access, adjust, and optimize these settings so your server runs exactly the way you envision. By the end, you’ll know how to tailor the in‑game clock to match your preferred style of survival, exploration, or role‑play.
Customizing Day/Night Cycle in Soulmask Servers
1. Connect to your Soulmask server

2. Log in as an admin. Learn how to do this here.

3. Open the Coefficient Settings menu.

4. Select the General tab to continue.
5. Adjust the Proportion of the daytime value to control how quickly night passes. A setting of 0.5 makes day and night equal in length, while higher values shorten the duration of night.

6. Adjust the Time Flow Multiplier to control how many in‑game hours pass during each real‑world hour. This value works together with the Proportion of Daytime, so both settings influence the overall speed of the day–night cycle.

NOTE: For real‑time progression, set the Proportion of Daytime to 0.5 and the Time Flow Multiplier to 24. This combination makes one full in‑game day equal one real‑world day.
